Busou Shoujotai: Blade Briders

In a post-apocalyptic world of the late 21st century, humankind faced its ultimate doom as alien invaders appeared out of nowhere via wormholes. With no means to defend themselves, humans were on the brink of extinction when hope arrived in the form of an unearthed weapon - the 'Imagination Embodiment Device.' This discovery came with a young master named Ryuusei who had been in cryogenic stasis for decades. He emerged to lead humanity into a triumphant victory over the extraterrestrial threat. Now, as rebuilding efforts continue in areas ravaged by the alien onslaught, Ryuusei takes command of the newly-formed Earth Defence Force -Earth's last line of defense against hostile intergalactic forces. However, he stands alone in his ability to wield the power of the 'Imagination Embodiment Device.' The weight of the world rests heavily on his shoulders should anything happen to him. To alleviate this burden and strengthen their defensive stance, the Defence Force recruits exceptional young women who possess untapped potential. Motivated by diverse personal motivations, these girls ultimately join Ryuusei in forming an elite fighting unit known as 'Blade Briders,' tasked with safeguarding Earth from recurring alien intrusions.
