In the scorching heat of a lazy Sunday afternoon, a diligent educator takes a break at school and comes across Moeda, whose clothes are barely intact as she desperately tries to water her wilting flowerbed. A broken shower at the end of a long hose adds to the chaos, leaving Moeda's attire drenched and damp. Seeing this predicament, our resourceful teacher opts for an ingenious solution - employing a hand puppet of the Expo's mascot 'Morrisque' to engage young Moeda's interest in the upcoming event. As a devoted plant enthusiast, Moeda is naturally thrilled by the prospect of the Expo, which she plans to attend during her much-needed summer break. With a glint of mischief in their eye, Morisuke (the teacher) begins imparting wisdom on growth and development - "Do you know how people and animals can grow?" To this, Moeda admits she is lacking knowledge in that particular field.
